Recently, Xploration Partners had the privilege of attending UC Berkeley's SkyDeck Batch 17 Demo Day, an event that showcased the culmination of months of hard work by the entrepreneurs in the program. 1. AsparaGlue: is revolutionizing surgical recovery with a flexible “superglue”. The startup is a spin-out from technology developed at UC Berkeley. We expect this startup to be one of the exciting new startups in the bio-surgical space lead by experienced CEO, Paul Birkmeyer.
   
   

2. iDentical: is revolutionizing tooth replacement with the first drill-free, personalized, 3D-printed dental implants.
   
   

3. NeuroAge Therapeutics: creates drugs to reprogram brain aging and treat dementia. The startup uses AI to combine the power of
   tracking individual's brain aging and genetics to create personalized drugs. Unlike many other biotech companies, NeuroAge will generate early revenue and data from it’s brain aging diagnostic, the NeuroAge Test.

Allos AI: makes innovative generics accessible with its Causal AI, which can forecast the effect of clinical interventions on patient outcomes unlike traditional AI that can only infer the outcomes. Allos AI uses a data-driven approach to identify pressing innovations that will give existing complex drugs a new life.
   
   

5. DeepSeq: empowers pharma/biotech to create functional protein drugs with highly interpretable generative AI and proprietary wet-lab screening technology. Their platform is validated by several paid customers, including a top global pharma, to develop drugs 10x faster and more effectively.
   
   

6. Olfera: is pioneering the use of the olfactory system as a direct pathway to the brain. Olfera specializes in crafting advanced biopharmaceutical solutions tailored for neurological conditions. Its patient-centric shift strives for an era of effective, non invasive brain treatments designed for numerous conditions and compatible with all major drug modalities.
   
   

7. ReframeAI: is developing Virtual AI Agents to help sales representatives quickly conduct thorough research on their inbound leads.
   
   

8. CoGrader: helps teachers save time grading by leveraging AI. Additionally, CoGrader provides real time visibility to parents on how their kids are doing and offers them targeted tutoring.
   
   

9. Swift Charge: is building an extensive EV charging network with proprietary technology to enable seamless long-distance travel in electric vehicles. Swift Charge is targeting the hospitality industry for their initial go-to-market strategy and already has partnerships with the Fairmont, Holiday Inn, Hilton, and many other hospitality players.
   
   

10. SUN METALON: provides cost-effective technology to decarbonize metal manufacturing through recycling, refining, and forming.
